BioI'm a forty-something married mother of two boys. I avoid real life by reading huge amounts of fan fiction and yaoi manga, and watching my favorite DVDs (mostly TV shows like Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Queer as Folk, but also some movies, like Brokeback Mountain) over and over and over...
I was in denial for years about this, but am now embracing my inner geek. I was on the math team in high school, for heaven's sake! My boys take after me, much to my husband's amused disgust. I'm proud to have introduced them to comic books and other necessities of life. I don't ever want to be one of those mean moms that grown men talk about with their therapists, who threw out all of their comic books when they were kids!
